Intention Plus Action Will Get Your Resolutions Fulfilled
Intention Plus Action Will Get Your Resolutions Fulfilled âIntentionâ is a big buzzword nowadays. In my leadership group, one woman in particular uses the word in almost every one of her communications. Sometimes I find myself responding: âI get your intention. And what ACTION are you going to take on that intention?â Intention is important and can be a huge motivator. But without action to follow it up, intention is just a nice thought. Telling my friend I intend to spend more time with her this year is actually hurtful if I donât do it. Telling myself I intend to lose 5 pounds wonât get me far if I eat a box of cookies every day. As entrepreneur and author John Maxwell says in a recent interview about his book Intentional Living: Choosing a Life That Matters, âNo one has ever been successful with good intentions alone. There has to be action.â I set out in 2015 with an intention to accomplish many thingsâ"my new yearâs âRessaylutions.â Hereâs the list and how I did: Roll out a new âresponsiveâ (mobile-friendly) website.? Goal achieved! TheEssayExpert.com has launched in its new form and is mobile-friendly! I have a new home page as well which launched just last week and is almost the way I want it! Implement Infusionsoft.? Goal achieved. My e-lists are now on Infusionsoft, as are our client communication and tracking system. Thank you to my new Infusionsoft virtual assistant, Anastasia Barre, who is just fixed our affiliate program and unsubscribe process! Serve 250 clients.? Total clients for 2015 was 141, in part due to changes in the number of clients coming to me through my e-book. I also had some personal challenges that slowed things down over the summer and fall, but business picked back up nicely at the end of the year. Iâm keeping this goal for 2016. Publish a print version of How to Write a KILLER LinkedIn Profile.? Done! Yay! Next step is to market the book. Implement a robust referral program. This project has been on hold with all the activity around Infusionsoft and my website, but people who refer paying clients to The Essay Expert can expect a gift from us! And Iâm going to look at making the program more consistent in 2016. Increase college essay / personal statement portion of my business to 25% of business. ?I upped my number of admissions consulting clients from last year, but still have not reached this goal. I realized that one thing stopping me was that I did not feel I had a good consultant in place to serve these clients. Recently I did bring on a consultant, a Yale alumna who is perfect for working with college applicants, so I feel more confident in marketing this service! I have a few resume writers sending me clients and I just got contacted by someone in China who might also be a source of referrals. I will continue to work on this one! Create more internal systems/guidelines. I have made progress in this area, adding and clarifying items in my agreements with my writers and also revamping some of the terms of service for clients. This is an ongoing project and will never end! Itâs clear that the resolutions where I made the most progress were the ones where I took the most action. Are you finding the same thing as you look back at your resolutions from the beginning of last year? Hereâs what Iâll be up to in 2016: Infuse my WHY statement throughout The Essay Expertâs website. ?I learned from Paul Dunn, in a talk he gave to a group of ActionCOACH clients in Madison, that the more I can communicate my WHY to potential clients, the more they will respond to what I offer. Iâve put my WHY statement on my new homepage at TheEssayExpert.com. It reads: At The Essay Expert, we donât go to bed until we know weâve captured your essence on paper. Thatâs what gets each one of us up in the morning, because thatâs what will excite the right company or school about you. Not the person next to you. Not a list of bullet points. You. I will be looking for ways to communicate this WHY on my services page and every page of my site. Provide better information on services on my site.? Iâve heard from many people that they would more easily accessible information about each of my services and how it works. Iâll be working on putting more valuable information on my website in 2016! Serve 250 clients.? I still believe this number is achievable and Iâm going for it! Publish 2 new editions of How to Write a KILLER LinkedIn Profile.? I just published the 12th edition of the book and expect to release 2 more updates by the time 2016 is done. Get How to Write a KILLER LinkedIn Profile in front of colleges and universities. If anyone has ideas on how to do this for low or no cost, please let me know! I think if college bookstores and career centers knew about my book, theyâd want to make sure to have copies on their shelves. Increase college essay / personal statement portion of my business to 25% of business.? Yep Iâm still gonna go after this one! Find an editor to do some of the editing of resumes and LinkedIn profiles that Iâm currently doing. Doing all the editing at The Essay Expert limits the number of clients we can serve, so Iâm looking for someone to take over the bulk of the editing work for resume and LinkedIn projects. Iâm already taking action on this goal and am reaching out to some promising candidates. If you know someone you think would be a great match, please send them my way! (Note I used the singular âtheyâ in that sentence, which has been voted the Word of the Year by the American Dialect Society!) Have you chosen your goals for 2016? As you refine them, remember you donât have to change everything. John Maxwell reminds us that if you pick the areas you want to get control of or change, and if you give intentionality even an hour a day, you will get results. Letâs get intentional together for 2016 and grow our intentional-living muscle! Whoâs in?

Play in therapy is the child s mode of communication, for sharing his world, his inner thoughts and feelings, and the meanings that he makes of his experience of his world(Cochran, Nordling, Cochran, 2010, p. 4). Play therapy is all about the child. The counselor working with these children in play therapy have to understand how important it is to do their best to keep these sessions as child-centered as possible. Essay on Comparing Rwanda - Holocaust - 756 Words
Genocide is a powerful word. International law requires intervention if something is deemed genocide. There is no doubt that the Holocaust is the most famous and most studied case of genocide, although there have been numerous throughout history. One of the more recent is the Rwandan genocide, in which 800,000 people were killed (United Human Rights). The two have several similarities and differences in their origins, exterminations and aftermath. The origin of the Holocaust can be attributed to Adolph Hitler coming to power and imposing his ideals on everyone. In his book, Mein Kampf, Hitler expresses hatred for Jews and his plans to rid Germany of them. Once he came to power, Germans started to boycott stores owned by Jews, restrictâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Jews were taken there by train, and upon arrival they were forced to give up their possessions. They were then herded in to gas chambers, or showers as the Nazis called them to avoid panic, where poisonous gas was released until everyone had died. The killing was not as organized in Rwanda. Hutu militia spread throughout the country, executing Tutsi families with machetes, guns and clubs. The radio controlled by Hutus broadcasted the exact locations of Tutsis in hiding, and further encouraged the killing. In some villages, Hutu militia would force other Hutus to kill Tutsis in their neighborhood, or be killed themselves. Tutsis were also forced to kill their families. After World War II had ended, between 9 million to 11 million people had been victims of the Holocaust (Encyclopedia Britannica Online, 8). About 9 million had moved to other countries at the end of the war, and about 6 million returned when it was over (Encyclopedia Britannica Online, 8). Most found that they had no homes left in their native countries; they were destroyed or occupied by other people. Allied forces liberated concentration and death camps, and arrested the remaining Nazi personnel and held them for trial. The Nà ¼rnberg trials were among the most famous, in which 18 Nazi officers were found guilty of war crimes (Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Nà ¼rnberg Trials). 800,000 people were victims in Rwanda (UnitedShow MoreRelatedEssay on The Bystander Effect in Genocides737 Words à |à 3 Pagesthe case. Teamwork is a wonderful word people like to use bu Essay Example For Students
Teamwork is a wonderful word people like to use bu Essay t few actually believe in. The philosophy behind team has to do with a group of individuals with many differing means and ideas coming together to accomplish the same goals. We will write a custom essay on Teamwork is a wonderful word people like to use bu specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Defined:Team- a group of animals exhibited or performing together, as horses in an equestrian show. Then a teammate would be a fellow member of the team. All this can be eliminated through simple principles. These principles will enhance the work place and give each person the self-esteem and confidence to strive for their best without the negatives that are ingrained into todays system of indecision and untrusting ways. Deming gave many examples how management is the key to the team. Goals and tools to accomplish these goals are authorized or denied through management. This paper will show examples of Demings Points in practice toward a military goal. Here are a few of the Deming Points viewed against the backdrop of the military on a small scale, but could easily be broadened to engulf the entire government prospective. Improvement can be accomplished all around us: in the supply system, in the way we perform inspections, training our new people, and the attitudes between departments or shops. The practice of awarding a contract to a different supplier each time an m is needed or contract is written is appalling. Each time an equipment item is required the supply system looks for the item in its stock. When the particular item is not found then appropriate suppliers are then linked associated by their ability to deliver the required material or item. The system the ranks the suppliers by: last time used, minority owned company, handicapped people working there, etc. A new supplier does not always produce the same widget as the one bought from another supplier. For instance: a fuse can be supplied by almost anyone able to make a fuse, but when a piece of equipment specifies a two ampere fifteen volt slow-blow fuse, then that is what is required. Not any type fuse will do. Then some have the fuse needed but they only last a few operating hours and others have a much longer capability. There is definitely a difference in the specified item received, no matter how identical they seem. Cost and variance in supplier seem to be the norm. This practice of getting different item each time drags down the continuity and the quality of the end product. By changing the front end materials this reduces the quality by adding another red bead to the mix. When a white bead is ordered and needed, then a white bead is need to accomplish the mission or goal. Just because twelve or two hundred different distributors have the same item does not mean that they are identical in quality, such as endurance ability, etc. Availability of the material will also come into play, does this supplier have the items ready at all times? Does he/she know the needs of the customer? When two groups of people get into an agreement together they start helping each other by being there for each other. Whenever their needs grow or wane then they can compensate by adjusting whichever way, and this also helps adjust the longer the relationship lasts the better the quality of service and quality of the items supplied. If the supplier will become knowledgeable as to how many, about when, etc. then this will become an excellent source of widgets or whatever. When the technician orders from the same company a couple of times then he/she becomes very comfortable and satisfied with the product that is received from the supplier. The customer always wants to know what they are .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .postImageUrl , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:visited , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:active { border:0!important; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:active , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Juvenile Delinquency Essayordering is to the specifications that THEY need.
